What is Dewan?
Dewan is a tactical strategy game with simple rules for 2 to 4 players, where you play as tribes competing to conquer limited new territories and gather precious resources.
Collect cards, place camps, and exploit resources to complete objectives and claim victory.
Each turn is fast: one action, and one action only!
The player with the most victory points wins the game.
Dewan stands out with its quick, dynamic gameplay while retaining a level of tactical depth that will appeal even to the most demanding players.

Dewan’s rules in a nutshell
Take 2 cards
Choose 2 Terrain cards from the card row, which are next to each other.
These cards represent the different types of terrain found on the game board: canyon, mountain, desert, forest, and water. Terrain cards are essential for moving across the board and reaching key areas.
Playing the right cards at the right time lets you access new territories and place a camp where it will matter most for your objectives. Every card you play affects your positioning and progress on the board.
Place a camp
Discard 1 card face up corresponding to the Terrain type of each space you cross, including both the starting point and destination.
In Dewan, timing is crucial: each territory can host only one camp. The deliberately compact board creates a true race for placement, where you must act quickly, anticipate opponents’ moves, and secure your spot before someone else takes it!
With this thrilling race mechanic, Dewan turns every move into a tense tactical decision. Managing your hand, accelerating at the right moment, and daring to take risks can make all the difference.
Story tiles
Meet the requirements of your story tiles to earn points.
Story Tiles are the main source of points in Dewan, and they are central to shaping your strategy.
These tiles guide your choices and help build your strategy: they indicate which territories to conquer and which resources to collect in order to meet conditions and score points.
At the end of the game, each player is rewarded based on the objectives they accomplished through careful planning of their own strategy.
Every game of Dewan offers clear tactical decisions, progressive planning, and high replayability, while allowing players to develop and adjust their strategy as the game unfolds.
To win at Dewan, you’ll compete against others to earn the most points. Achieve this by strategically placing your camps to optimize terrain and resources, helping you meet the requirements on your story tiles. Throughout the game, you’ll also collect Berries and master Fire to earn additional points.
4 scenarios to refresh your gameplay experience
Dewan offers 4 distinct scenarios, each changing the board layout and the way victory points are scored, keeping the gameplay experience fresh. These scenarios introduce evolving events that progressively transform the board and force players to adapt their strategy throughout the game. Three thematic scenarios, including an erupting volcano, a downpour, and lake villages!
A 2 vs 2 mode for collective strategy
Dewan also offers a team play with the base game. This mode adds depth to the experience, emphasizing coordination and collective strategy.
In teams, players must adjust their tactical choices, work together toward shared objectives, and optimize their placements on the board to execute a common strategy. Managing territories, Terrain cards, and resources takes on a new dimension, as each decision can benefit your partner—or create an opportunity for the opposing team.
